Description

Experience your dream beachfront Carolina vacation in this three bedroom, three bathroom luxury penthouse! You'll find it nestled within the gated resort community of Wild Dunes on the iconic Isle of Palms. After undergoing a complete floor-to-ceiling renovation in 2022, it now emanates coastal elegance throughout. 

Utilize the convenience of the elevator at the complex to make unloading to the fourth floor a breeze. You'll enter on the first level, where you'll find the living, kitchen, and dining spaces - along with stunning views of the Atlantic of course. The majority of the furniture, fixtures, and appliances were updated in the renovation with the convenience and comfort of our guests as the first priority. 

The living room features new, modern furniture, a full-size pullout sofa for extra sleeping capability, and a Smart TV for streaming all of your favorite shows and movies. A large dining table offers seating for eight, perfect for group dinners after a long day at the beach. Speaking of dining, the kitchen is fully equipped with anything you'd need to cook a meal and includes a double oven for maximum efficiency. 

Also on the lower level is the first of three bedrooms, with two twin sized beds (Bedroom #1) and an en-suite bathroom. Take the stairs to the second level where the remaining bedrooms reside. The primary suite with a king bed (Bedroom #2) is beach-facing, with stunning ocean views and a private balcony. Wake up to a Carolina sunrise every morning and the sound of the ocean. This room has an en-suite bathroom and Smart TV as well. The final bedroom is across the hall with a queen bed (Bedroom #3) and another private balcony, this time overlooking the golf course with the most amazing sunsets! 

At the Shipwatch Villas, enjoy some of the many amenities including a beach front pool, kid's pool, a playground, and an observation deck overlooking the ocean! All just a quick elevator ride away. Situated just across the way from the golf course, playing 18 holes couldn't be easier if you have a golf-enthusiast in the group.

416B Shipwatch is a very nice 3 BR, 3 BA condo with oceanfront views. Nice updates throughout the unit are evident. Shipwatch overall was very quiet this time of year so enjoyed the solitude. Only "negatives" were lack of seating in the Bedrooms. Would have been nice to have a chair of some sort to enjoy and/or use for luggage. No where to put suitcases except on the beds, which isn't very sanitary to do. A luggage stand/rack for each bedroom would have been an inexpensive nice feature to have.

This was our second stay at this condo. We love the two levels and being able to see the beach. The unit has everything you need for a stay with family.

Pros: The condo was located in a nice quiet area with easy access to pool and beach. Views were very great from all balconies. Pool was never too crowded and was kept up well. Bathrooms were very nice.Cons: I would agree with another review that the floors were dirty upon arrival.The TV situation was not great. We arrived and wanted to watch the soccer game but the tv is a Roku and the only way we could watch anything was to mirror my son’s computer to the tv and use his streaming services. Never experienced that in a rental.I would also say that the Queen bed felt like you were falling into the middle and the twins were hard. There are not enough places to sit in the family room or the main patio and they cheaped out on the chairs around the table. They were uncomfortable for long sits playing cards at night.

Wonderful oceanfront view. Very clean condo with updated amenities. Convenient location. Would definitely stay here again. My only advice for a better experience would be that the floors would have been cleaner upon arrival. They were sandy when we first arrived, and I couldn't find a broom or vacuum cleaner to clean them myself. Other that that, it was a perfect place to stay. The bedding was super comfortable as well.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Wild Dunes. The condo was very clean and looked to be recently updated. There was plenty of space and the community was very beautiful.

This condo is a first class accommodation at the beautiful Isle of Palms. It is located in a gated community. It is clean, bright, and comfortable with all the amenities to enjoy a wonderful vacation. The views of the ocean from the front room and master bedroom are awe inspiring. It has a gourmet kitchen and an open floor plan. Too windy for the beach, enjoy the outdoor pool. The complex is well maintained in a quiet, idyllic setting. It is a vacation home you won’t want to leave. I highly recommend it for a marvelous stay.
