Description

Welcome to 323D Shipwatch in Wild Dunes Resort.  This third floor condo has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and gorgeous oceanfront views. The Shipwatch complex also has a large swimming pool, observation deck, and children's play area.

The condo has an open floor plan fully updated with modern flooring throughout and a clean & contemporary coastal vibe. The living area contains a large, flat screen TV and opens to the incredible ocean view balcony. The dining area, which is part of the large open living space, features seating for four guests. There is a kitchen bar which hosts an additional 3 bar stools. The gorgeous, illuminated kitchen has granite countertops, updated cabinetry, and new stainless steel appliances.  The kitchen is equipped with upgraded cookware and necessities.

The beautiful master suite is furnished with a king bed and flat-screen TV with cable & DVD player.  This room has direct access to the ocean view balcony. The large, renovated, private master bathroom has a large, glass shower and double vanity.

The second bedroom contains a queen bed, cable TV, and a private bathroom with shower and tub combination. The third bedroom has two full-size beds, cable TV, and a private bathroom, which share access to the adjacent hallway.

We have rented numerous places over the year and this one was one of the top!! We cooked breakfast and the kitchen had exactly right types of things - pizza cutter, mixer, frying pans, utility shears- really impressed. They also provided trash bags and detergent/dish soap enough for 3 days- so thoughtful. The king bed was amazing - super comfortable. Communication was great throughout the whole process. It’s a great unit and great place!

We enjoyed our stay! The condo was beautiful with excellent views. I am handicapped and found everything accessible. The beach walk was longer than expected (from looking at photos) but mostly flat so manageable. The bedrooms were a nice size and the entire condo was very clean. The carts in the garage area were wonderful and allowed us to get everything to the condo in one trip. Although we were warned about the construction, it began early and very loudly. This would be the only downside to the stay.

We loved our stay at 323D Shipwatch. Great ocean view. Coffee on the balcony each morning with the sound of the waves was a great way to start our days. It’s just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen had all we needed, even a large pot to make a low country boil. The only suggestion would be to put some hooks in the bathroom by the third bedroom. Maybe on the door going into the bedroom. It is small and there is no place to put clothes etc We already booked for next year!

This was such a nice clean condo! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. It was oceanfront so we enjoyed walks on the beach. The living area is a little small for 5+ adults but there were TVs in the bedrooms so we could spread out. Parking was easy and the elevator made it easy to carry luggage, groceries, etc up plus there were luggage carts available under the garage. We had a small maintenance issue, called it in, & they responded in less than an hour and made the repair. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

The place was nice with beautiful views, and beach. However, being awakened by the noise from the construct next door, beginning at 7:30am everyday was not. The dining and living room furniture could use an upgrade. Otherwise, it would have been a nice stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean, had a nice layout, beautiful ocean views, close and direct beach access, covered parking , and included extra thoughtful amenities like board games and puzzles. We visit Charleston/IOP/Wild Dunes annually and truly enjoyed our stay at this property. One small suggestion would be an upgrade to the shower head in the front Queen bedroom to one that is more adjustable. We also did notice that the front bedrooms were considerably warmer than the main living area and primary bedroom, although the ceiling fans did help. Overall, we had a great stay and would consider this property again for future stays.

Great condo and time at Shipwatch/Wild Dunes. The condo is close to the pool and beach and the elevator is nice for those with mobility issues. The keypad/lock on the door was a little finicky and took multiple tries to open most days, but everything else was great!

This is a very nice condo. My wife and I enjoyed it. Very clean and check in was simple. Sufficiently stocked starter supplies and kitchen stuff. Great sunrises from the balcony but you lose the sun in the afternoon. It's not as large as the pictures make it look (no surprise there!) but plenty of space for us. I think it would feel crowded with 6 people. This was our second time renting at Shipwatch. Last time we rented a two story 3 bed/3b bath unit on the 4th (and 5th) floor which has advantages over the one level third floor units. If the price difference is reasonable, we would go back to the 2 story unit- but also wouldn't hesitate to go back to this unit. Overall excellent!

The condo was excellent and very clean and well organized. The location was superb as it was close to the beach and pool. The resort was beautiful and the amenities were plentiful . We so enjoyed our stay at Shipwatch and look forward to returning.

Perfect home base for our family as we celebrated a beautiful wedding. Three large bedrooms each with private baths, well-appointed furniture in living room with stunning ocean view, fully equipped kitchen….easy access to both pool and beach boardwalk. A wonderful experience was had by all! Owners clearly take pride in their home and I look forward to renting again for future visits on Isle of Palm.

We were so happy to return to this beautiful, well appointed and comfortable condo. Everything was perfect. Easy check in, very clean, everything we needed. Rented chairs and umbrellas from IOP Beach Chair rental! Used Lyft to restaurants. I hope we can come back next year and stay a little longer. Thank you, Sweetgrass!!

The balcony view was awesome. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean and neat! We had one issue with the elevator being down due to power washing. Luckily it was only one day (my mom was with us and 80 years old). The area was quiet and the beach was lovely. We would enjoy coming back again.

Booking and checking in and out of the condo with Sweetgrass was quick and easy. The condo was very clean and quiet, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The only thing we could think to add would be a pantry to store groceries. Condo was decorated as pictured except for needing fresh paint badly and the ocean view was partially obstructed by a large (but beautiful) tree. There are still good views of the ocean and the tree makes the condo more private. Grounds around the condo are lovely. Building itself is a bit dated. Our kids loved the beach and we loved the location. Charleston is one of our favorite places and we enjoyed our stay here very much!
