Description

Welcome to 2905 Palm Boulevard!  Situated on the desirable ocean-side of the Isle of Palms, a classic beach town near historic Charleston, South Carolina, this stunning home was FULLY REBUILT IN 2024 and expanded to 6 spacious bedrooms - all with ensuite bathrooms - and an expansive deck with private pool.  Be one of the first guests to experience this new island gem!

Stepping inside the home, you'll discover a luxurious and contemporary design with a laid-back coastal vibe.  The open floor-plan of the main living space is an ideal setting for casual gatherings and spending time with friends and family.  The gorgeous new kitchen boasts all new appliances and a magnificent central island that allows for plenty of entertaining and prep space.  There are six stools at the island counter for easy meals and a larger dining table with seating for 10.  Everyone will enjoy relaxing in the comfortable living room area with huge flat-screen TV and an abundance of windows that allow in the natural light.

For sleeping, there is one bedroom on the main first level of the home.  This room is considered one of the primary suites and boasts a king bed and pool deck access.  The other five bedrooms are all upstairs on the second level of the home.  Four of these rooms have a king bed and one has two twin-over-queen bunk beds, making it an ideal room for the kids.  The other primary suite - which is one of these king bedrooms - also has access to the upstairs screened porch, which is a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee with distant ocean views.  All of the bedrooms have TVs and each room has a private bathroom.

For added convenience, the home provides complimentary WiFi, a laundry room on the second level with two washers and dryers, a half bathroom on the first floor (near the door to the pool deck), and an elevator, making the home more accessible for everyone.

I can’t rave enough about this wonderful beach home and Sweetgrass Vacation Rentals!!!! All our needs were beyond met by the home and Sweetgrass. We’ve been vacationing in the South Walton/Destin, Florida area the past several years but decided to return to the Charleston area this year, and are SO GLAD we did. This home was brand new, beautifully appointed with everything we needed and then some, and only three houses away from easy access to a fantastic wide beach. The shady front porch with multiple rockers, a swing bed and swivel Adirondack chairs poolside quickly became everyone’s favorite spot all day long. And that pool - suspended just outside the first floor main suite (one of two), it was my first experience with a pool on the front of the house and on the main floor - how fun for all of us, and our ages ranged from 7 to 64! We enjoyed people watching from the pool, and ducking back into the house through the poolside door that led directly to a handy powder room. The living room was spacious and comfortable, as were the private en-suite bathrooms for each of the six large bedrooms. The two main suite bathrooms had free standing tubs with tub fillers as well as huge walk-in showers with all the rain heads and sprayer choices you could want. The mattresses were comfortable and the kids loved the bunk room with full beds on the bottom of each bunk. The chef’s kitchen was well-stocked; the massive double refrigerator and dual dishwashers were unexpected and extremely convenient. Oh, and I can’t leave out the elevator!!! It was so handy for loading luggage in and out as well as taking out trash and recyclables. Most importantly, it was a huge bonus for my husband who has had multiple back surgeries.My only hesitation with leaving this detailed review is that we may find the house so popular in the future that we won’t be able to book it when we’re ready to come back! This was our first stay on Isle of Palms, but it won’t be our last. We loved the area including the many excellent restaurants nearby, the handy Harris Teeter, the family atmosphere, and the ease of getting to Charleston and the airport. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My family and I had a wonderful time! This house is spacious and the pool is wonderful. It was across the street from the beach with access about one block down from the house. It was very close to the Rec center and dog park as well as the isle of palms marina. We did take a afternoon boat ride through Soul Shine Charters Charleston. Captain Ashley picked us up at the IOP marina and we had a blast. We did have an issue with me of the bathrooms but all it took was one call to let them know and the problem was fixed quickly. We will definitely be back.

We had a very memorable experience! The house is cozy with an awesome pool. The location is phenomenal as it’s only a few minutes walk from the beach, few miles away from the grocery store and restaurants. We hope to go back in the near future!!

This was our first stay in IOP. The booking process was easy and convenient. The house was wonderful. Spacious, clean, great location to beautiful beach, backyard with pool is beautiful. Sweetgrass sent someone to clean pool from leaves that fell after storm passed thru without us asking. They also put trash cans to curb and brought them back. Conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Drove to Charleston for more shopping, walking, and restaurants. Easy 20 minute drive. I highly recommend Sweetgrass generally and this house particularly. Great, fun vacation!!!

The home is ideal for walking to the beach or just lounging at the pool in the backyard. There is plenty of room inside for everyone to have their own space and two living rooms to gather together. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed for making meals and all of the appliances are new. The outdoor shower has hot and cold water, which made it absolutely perfect for our returns from the beach. There were a couple of concerns, including the pool pump not properly working when we arrived, and the ladder to the kids bunk bed being broken (a bit of a scare). However, the Sweetwater staff had both to these taken care of within 24 hours, including having the entire pump replaced (we went to the beach that day, instead of using the pool). The home is starting to show its age, and could benefit from some updates and repairs, particularly to the floors and outdoor furniture; but overall, it's a wonderful place to spend a week and we had a fantastic visit.

A very nice and most importantly clean beach rental. Plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and most everything else you would need. Could have used better lighting over kitchen island. Nice firm mattresses! Outside shower was very nice after a day at the beach. Pool was amazing, very clean. We are a family of 10. 7 adults ranging from 55-20 and 3 babies ages 1-3. We fit very nicely in the home. Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch. There are fire ants in the backyard but not a problem for us.
