You’ll appreciate the beautifully decorated living spaces with hardwood floors, new stainless appliances, and granite accents in the kitchen, as well as renovated baths and new furnishings. The large windows throughout the house offer stunning panoramic views of the river, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the surrounding nature from the comfort of your own private oasis. Watch dolphins playing in the water as you relax on the deck and the screened-in porch or admire beautiful sunsets from the deck off the main bedroom.

This charming cottage accommodates up to six guests.  The primary suite features a King bed, private bathroom, and porch access – perfect for enjoying your cup of coffee with a view.  The other two bedrooms both contain two twin beds and share access to a bathroom.

In addition to its riverfront location, this property is just a short stroll away from the pristine shores of Kiawah Island's renowned beaches. Spend your days basking in the sun, building sandcastles, or taking long walks along the shoreline. For the more adventurous, the island offers a plethora of outdoor activities such as kayaking or crabbing at the Inlet Cove community dock or biking through Kiawah’s miles of picturesque trails.  And all can enjoy swimming in the neighborhood pool, which is located just 100 yards from the home.

We have vacationed on Kiawah many times for almost 30 years and our favorite house to rent has always been 5 Inlet Cove because of its beautiful decor and its wonderful screen-porch view of the Kiawah River and the salt marshes. Our visit this year did not disappoint and fully met our expectations. Easy access to Beachwalker Park and all the Kiawah bike-paths is a definite plus, as well as use of the Inlet Cove pool. Here is my only suggestion: The ability to enjoy use of the TV in any hotel room or rental in recent years has depended on the ability to stream from a laptop or mobile device for anything other than local programming. I was able to figure out how to connect to the Roku TV through its Apple TV icon from my iPhone, but it took some trial and error. Clear and prominent instructions for streaming would be very helpful.

This was our second time staying at this home and it is amazing. Beautiful river views, glorious sunsets, community pool and easy access to the beach. Proximity and home features were great.

We enjoyed our vacation in Kiawah. We stayed at 5 Inlet Cove for 7 nights and overall would rate the place as “Good”. The river/marsh views from the back porch were amazing, especially at sunset and the screened in porch got a ton of use from our family. The location of the unit is private yet close to the pool, a short bike ride to the beach, and not too far from the Freshfields village. The interior was pleasant with a beach theme and space to both eat inside/outside or watch a movie at night. We did have a few issues which were addressed when we called the handyman/property manager (Chris) who was super responsive and courteous and came by to take a look promptly. First, the refrigerator/freezer struggled to produce ice. Chris ended up ordering a new water filter (which he installed as soon as it arrived) but unfortunately that didn’t really make a difference. We ended up buying a couple bags of ice and putting them in the freezer. No biggie but hopefully that gets addressed for future guests. Additionally, for a place that sleeps 6 and charges almost $1000/night, you’d think it would come with access to bikes or beach chairs or even more than 1 towel/person without having to rent or pay extra. Lastly, when we arrived, there was a crib in one of the bedrooms, a stroller and beach toys were left scattered under the house from previous guests, the closet door in one of the guest rooms was off the hinges, and the shower in the J&J bathroom had a faulty drain plug. Each of those things were minor by themselves but in total kind of annoying and should have been taken care of before our arrival. Again, overall rating of “good” based largely on location and views.

Inlet Cove #5 has a spectacular view of the Kiawah river and marsh. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch watching the sun set, dolphins, and variety of birds. The furnishings in this unit have been recently upgraded. The couch, chairs, and beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. It is our favorite vacation rental at Kiawah.
