Welcome to 72 Grand Pavilion!  This idyllic island home is situated in the popular Grand Pavilion neighborhood in the heart of the gated community of Wild Dunes Resort. With access to the boardwalk & oceanfront pools and just steps from the pristine sandy beaches of the Isle of Palms, it’s the perfect family getaway for those who want to experience Charleston’s island communities.

The first floor of the home hosts the main living and dining areas.  The living room features modern furnishings and a large flat-screen TV.  The dining area has table seating for 6 guests.  The renovated kitchen, which is separate from the living space, contains upgraded cabinetry, appliances, and countertops.  There is a large central island with three bar-height stools, which is a great spot for entertaining while cooking.  The kitchen has all the cookware, utensils and supplies needed for a delicious meal.  Guests will enjoy have a cup of coffee at the small breakfast table under the bay windows overlooking the porch area as well.

Just off the kitchen is unique sunroom, which also doubles as a library area, to cozy up with a good book or just relax after a day in the sun.  Open the sliding door in this room to step out onto the back patio deck with table seating for two, gas grill, and scenic neighborhood views.

There is one bedroom on the main first level.  This bedroom (Bedroom #1) has a Queen bed, TV, and private bathroom with tub/shower combo.  The remaining three bedrooms and laundry area is on the second floor of the home.  The second bedroom (Bedroom #2) has a Queen bed, TV, and private bathroom with walk-in shower.  The third bedroom (Bedroom #3) has two Twin beds, TV, and private bathroom with tub/shower combo.  The last bedroom (Bedroom #4) is the Master suite.  It features a King bed, TV, large windows with reading area, and a spacious private bath with walk-in shower, separate soaking tub, and dual vanity.  It also has access to the large second-floor screened porch overlooking the live oaks and Grand Pavilion community.

We are not given a schedule and all of the events are managed by the Resort. There is a noise ordinance in effect weekdays until 10PM, and weekends through 11PM.*

Feedback on the SG staff, they were excellent….courteous, responsive, helpful…Rachel, Kyle, Carissa and Amy…..the house itself and cleanliness is an opportunity for improvement…..2-3 of the showers had significant mildew (use RMR86 spray it on and go)…..garage door opener did not work……Kyle reached out to installer and apparently they were a no-show……suggest the owner have the “garage” power washed, could use a coat of paint, grill worked excellently..spare tank is empty.

We love the house and the location it was clean. The only complaint you cannot set the AC to a colder setting at night. It was too warm. We pay for the house in the air conditioning that should not be a limit. Otherwise, the house was great.

This home was amazing! Perfect for our girls trip of 8, plenty of space for everyone. Very short walk to the beach, the pool, and restaurants on site. The kitchen was well stocked, beds and pillows were comfortable. The home was clean. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for sharing your home!

The beach was great and enjoyed our time on it. Pools were very crowded and not enough umbrellas for the amount of people there. Could definitely use more shade for the summer months as everyone fights for the umbrella's and most put stuff on them early morning to reserve them. The house was OK, not great but some of that may be our fault because we booked a little later than normal. The house was not cleaned very well and I saw roaches (not palmetto bugs) in the house on several occasions. There were potato chips on the coach right where you sit and there are several banisters that need to be repaired that could be very dangerous for young kids or toddlers. (need to be nailed in again. back screened in porch has a few of these and so does the entry way steps in front of house). Great location and renting bikes was a lot of fun. The resort had nice places to eat and shop, etc. We typically stay in Kiawah and would probably not visit IOP again with the family. Too crowded and busy.
