- THE HISTORY: The home features heart pine flooring salvaged from an old Charleston building dating back to the 1800s and rare antique Pecky Cypress surrounds the kitchen area.  Additionally, the “Charleston green” screened doors, showcased in the wet bar area, are originally from 1890 and were relocated to the home from the family’s original historic downtown Inn! There’s even a joggling board on the front porch to welcome you to this Lowcountry retreat.

- YOUR CHARLESTON RETREAT:
With a reversed floor-plan, you’ll find the main living spaces on the second floor of the home.  This spoils you with special views and natural light.   On this level there is a wet bar and game room, two open seating areas - one ideal for conversations and the other for curling up by the TV, an impressive kitchen with upgraded appliances and center island, a dining area surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, and access to the sweeping southern-style back porch.  There is a bedroom situated at the far end of the main second floor of the home.  This room (Bedroom #7) has a twin-size daybed with a twin trundle.  It has shared access to the main floor full bathroom.

Ascend the stairs to the third floor to discover the epitome of luxury living – the master pent-house suite (Bedroom #1) featuring a king bed, large private bathroom, comfortable sitting area with TV, and a private balcony. (Please note that the elevator does not go all the way to the third floor.)

The remaining five bedrooms are on the first level of the home.  You'll also find three bathrooms, the laundry room, and a spacious porch area on this lower level.  The first bedroom (Bedroom #2) is one of the master suites and features a king bed, chaise lounge, view of the backyard pool, and a private bathroom with tub and marble shower.  There is a bedroom with king bed (Bedroom #3) and a bedroom with two twins (Bedroom #4), which share a bathroom with dual sinks and a standing shower.  Lastly, there is another king bedroom (Bedroom #5) and a bedroom with a bunk bed (twin-over-twin, Bedroom #6).  These two rooms share a bathroom with a combination tub/shower.

Experience a true outdoor oasis by the ocean.  With a private pool and spa, poolside grilling station, and lounge seating galore, you will never want to come in!  (Pool can be heated upon request.) *Regarding Pool Heating: Pool can sometimes be heated for an additional fee.  Please check with our team.  In the event of unseasonably freezing or cold weather, it is possible that pool heating may not be operable or available, as heating temperatures typically only reach 10-15 degrees higher than current outside temps and may still not be warm enough to enjoy.

We had a fabulous stay at 126 Flyway for Spring break 2024! This house was perfection! The views were spectacular. So many wonderful views all throughout the house! The heated pool and hot tub were amazing! We spent a lot of time watching sports and grilling out by the pool! The easy access to the beach made for sunrise walks every morning in addition to multiple trips back and forth throughout the day. We spent as much time as possible outside!! The location of 126 Flyway was perfect for us with short bike rides to Night Heron park and the Ocean course. We loved being right in the middle! Last but certainly not least, the property owners and incredible Sweetgrass Properties team, especially Courtney and Chris were very receptive and quick to respond regarding anything we needed! We couldn’t have asked for a better house to share our time with family in Kiawah! We look forward to future stays at this same property and hope others get to enjoy this perfect beach house!!!
