Welcome to our home at 5512 Cypress Point! This stunning 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath home is located in the exclusive Cottages of Cypress Point community within East Beach section of the Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Lowcountry, this unique home seamlessly blends both contemporary and native, southern style. 

Upon arrival, you are greeted by a grand courtyard leading to an expansive patio and outdoor dining/grilling area. On the lower entry level, an enclosed porch and sitting room features a wet bar, dining table, couch and TV and is the perfect spot for entertaining guests on warm summer days. 

From the covered entryway, you can enter the home up the natural stone steps into the spacious open layout of the great room.  This communal space room is enhanced by modern, comfortable furnishings and design elements include high ceilings, detailed trim work, farmhouse doors, beautiful wood and stone floors, and exquisitely appointed furnishings.. The two window alcoves are special areas for reading or enjoying the natural light. One of the best features of this open communal space is that it's ideal for spending time with friends and family.  The dining table with upholstered chairs seats eight guests.   The gourmet kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances, wine cooler, and granite counter tops is a chef's delight.  The large central island features four additional bar stools for extra patrons.

The first floor master bedroom (Bedroom #1), just off the kitchen area, features a king size bed. Luxury extends to the master bathroom with a floor to ceiling tiled walk-in shower and double sink vanity with abundant storage. Upstairs are three guest suites: one contains a king size bed (Bedroom #2) and the other two bedrooms each feature a queen size bed (Bedroom #3 and #4).  Designed for comfort, each bedroom has a private bath and cozy furnishings, and the first three bedrooms have a TV.

Stayed for a week and thought this was the best home we have stayed in at Kiawah. It was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and spacious for our family. We loved the lighting and tankless water heater also. Plenty of dishware and glassware and seemingly new appliances. The ground floor level was great after a long day out and about at the beach and in Kiawah and during a thunderstorm. Showers were wonderful. We did not want to leave! Location was excellent and the pool was clean, relaxing and very private. The only improvement we all agreed on was the need for more hooks (in bathrooms and maybe somewhere else like downstairs entryway) but understand perhaps a need for less fixtures on walls. And maybe could have more usable area in the patio area, which would allow easier parking of bikes at night. We hope to stay there again. Sweetgrass really does a nice job.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. Sweetgrass was very responsive to our requests for items and repairs. A few things to be aware of when you are renting: As stated in the listing, you cannot use the garage. If you are renting bikes, they must be out of sight from the road. We had to park them in the courtyard, which is filled with ivy. The house also has a stereo system, but renters are not able to use it. I know Sweetgrass plans to renovate this home.

What a wonderful place to stay. When we arrived there wasn't one thing out of place. Even the pebbles around the bluestone pavers on the way into the house were perfect. We were welcomed into the front staircase with a wonderful aroma from a delightful placement of "great smelling stuff" and got to experience that daily in our comings and goings. The interior of the house was decorated perfectly and I felt right at home. What a wonderful shower in the Master. I could have stayed in there all day BUT there was beautiful golf course and a beach to get to. Great to have restaurants and a grocery store so close to the house. I just loved this place, the comfort of the family room and would recommend it highly to anyone thinking of going to Kiawah.

Kiawah never disappoints. Neither does Sweetgrass! This is my 3rd time staying with them and I think we have found the perfect property for us. Even though the weather was terrible we enjoyed having to stay inside most of the time. It was clean and well appointed. Side note, getting fresh seafood from Rosebank Farms made cooking at home a delight! We have rebooked to come back again later in the year... Hoping for better weather!

Our stay at this home was a wonderful experience. The home is spacious and beautifully, well appointed. The home is very clean. The kitchen is well equipped with all of your cooking needs. The location is perfect to easily get to the Sanctuary Hotel for a Cocktail and Freshfields Village for shopping and dining. I would highly recommend this home for your stay on Kiawah Island.

The house was better than advertised - beautifully appointed, meticulously cleaned and prepared for our arrival. We could not have asked for a better housing option for our long weekend in Kiawah. One thing to be mindful of however (and this is not meant to be a critique): the allotment of household supplies such as dishwasher detergent, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper is a bit limited. This information is sent in an email right before check in so it can be a bit difficult to fully plan ahead. We ran into problems with having enough garbage bags to both keep the house tidy during our stay and also ensure that all the trash is removed at the time of checkout. We also had to run out and get more dish detergent because we only got one packet but also were expected to have run the dishwasher upon discharge. So be prepared for this and it won't be a problem!

Very nice home in a very nice area, we really enjoyed our stay here on Kiawah. The home was spotless, well equipped and very cozy. We rented some bikes (highly recommended) and just rode around the area, beach is only a few minutes away. Some things to note, a previous review said to bring your own propane which we did but there was no need, the facility had propane and a spare tank in the large storage container by the gas grill. Bring necessities like seasoning, cooking oils etc. etc. if you plan on cooking because the rental has absolutely nothing for cooking besides pots and pans. Parking is interesting to say the least, we were able to fit my car and my wife's crossover but it took some work, if you have a large truck/SUV it will be the only vehicle that you'll be able to fit in the driveway. The home has integrated audio throughout so if you have the living room TV playing and sound is coming out of the speakers in the bedroom/house the knob above the master bedroom light switches is what controls the speakers, you're welcome. Besides these very minor observances the house was fabulous and we will definitely stay again if it's available, we had no issues with anything, enjoy the area and everything Kiawah has to offer :)

Beautifully decorated and situated on quiet street. Close to every place you could want to go on the island. A great 5 minute ride to the beach on bicycles. Great food and friendly people. The perfect place to get away and relax!

5512 was a great house rental. Lots of room for 6 adult and 2 kids. The house lacked for nothing and the kitchen was very well equipped. We really felt we were living in the comfort of our own homes.

We stayed for a week with five adults and two young children. All of us enjoyed the property. It has clearly been recently renovated. The furnishings are great - both the furniture and the kitchen appliances and cooking utensils. We rent vacation properties all over the world, and this was the best-equipped kitchen, hands-down. Smart TVs in three of the bedrooms and in the living room were a great touch - especially the access to Netflix and AT&T TV. It is a short, easy 10-minute walk to the beach, and the neighborhood pool is a great amenity.

A group of six had an amazing stay at 5512 Cypress Point -- super easy to bike to the beach, and an exceptional house in which to spend our time. We'll be back!
