Note for 2024 Renters:  The normal beach access path between 13 & 14 Beachwood East is temporarily closed due to damage from high tides and erosion.  There are additional beach access paths you may use at either end of Beachwood East, paths that connect to either cul-de-sac or pathways/trails.

We had a PERFECT trip!! This house was ideal size & location for our extended family- we traveled with an infant, 7 year old and 5 adults. The house is within walking distance to the beach (a must with littles!) & the pool was fantastic for after nap time swims. We would absolutely rent this house again & felt that the home was very spacious + well maintained. The kitchen is a little tight but dining room is open with a large table perfect for playing cards after dinner! We really appreciated the stocked kitchen appliances & grill outside on the pool deck. We can't wait to visit again!

Great vacation experience for mom. SHe had a girls weekend with her friends and the rooms were very spacious and accommodating. All of the T.V works. No issues with parking for her guests. The only issue is that the elevator was not available for guest. They are elderly and a few had disability so that was their only complaint having to carry their belongings up the stairs and avoiding having to go up and down the stairs by staying on 2nd floor level the entire weekend.

The elevator at the home, as indicated on the listing, is not regularly maintained and therefore it is not available for guest use. We apologize if you missed this in the listing description. The house is in a quiet street in Wild Dunes and the walk to the beach wasn’t bad. It is near the part of the island having erosion issues so the beaches are pretty small compared to the rest of the island but the beaches weren’t too crowded when we were there so it didn’t bother us as much. The house is pretty newly renovated and is nice but just doesn’t have quite enough bathrooms to make it great. The AC worked wonderful which was great given the heat. All in all a nice place.

This was the perfect home for our group of 8. Spacious living room, nice outdoor patio, ample parking, and comfortable beds. The easy beach access was a bonus perk. We came for a golf trip and it was nearly walking distance to Wild Dunes. The owner was great with communication and even let us check in an hour early. Can’t think of a single negative thing to say about the home, I highly recommend SweetGrass Properties and hope to come back in the future!

The home at 31 Beachwood is a perfect location for a beach family getaway. The location to the beach is excellent. The area is beautiful, quiet, and full of activities. The home's bedrooms are excellent for a large gathering. The kitchen has a double oven and large fridge plus the outdoor grill for family dinners. The screened-in porch is a great hang-out space. The dining area is a little small, but can seat 6 comfortably.

My one complaint: There needs to be another kind size bed. One isn't enough when you have multiple families sharing the home. My compliments: Home is absolutely gorgeous in the prettiest neighborhood. Tree and flowers everywhere. We rode bikes on the trails and on the beach, it was lovely. The screened in porch is awesome and the pool table was super fun. Super short walk to the beach. Close enough to hear the ocean. Fenced in back yard was great for the kids to run around and play in. They saw tons of deer and pretty red birds. The upstairs loft room was fun for our teenagers. We loved staying here and would definitely stay again. The house was spotless when we arrived.

The house is a 2-minute walk from the beach and if spending time on the beach is your goal, then this is a great house for the value and location. The home offers plenty of storage space to stash your beach equipment and bikes in the garage. The outdoor shower is fantastic to wash away the sand. The interior has a well-stocked kitchen and amble space for groups. Super friendly biking community for when you've tired of the beach. Easy drive to restaurants on Sullivan's Island or beyond.

While the house is starting to show it's age, it was a great value for the number of bedrooms, location, and amenities. Great option for fitting our large fam into one great location. Property managers were professional and responsive.
