Situated on 34th Avenue on Isle of Palms, SC, this home is a delightful family beach house. It is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home, and about 5 minutes walking to the beach. The large back yard and front screened in porch are perfect for entertaining.

Upon arrival, you will find the main staircase of the home will have you enter inside the vast screened in porch. There is a hammock for your lounging needs and plenty of seating to enjoy the ocean breeze, or enjoy a family meal. Once inside, you walk into the open floor concept of the living room, kitchen, and dining room. The living room has enough seating for the family to gather around the flat screen TV. The large kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with cups, dishes and your basic needs to get started on your vacation. The dining room seats 6 and there are 2 additional bar stools at the kitchen island for your convenience.

To the right of the front door, just past the living room, sits the master bedroom with a queen bed. It has a nice size private bathroom with a shower. To the left of the front door, you will go down the hallway to find the remaining three bedrooms. On the left side of the hallway, is a bedroom with a queen bed and a private bathroom. To the right, is a guestroom with a set of bunk beds. This room also houses the laundry units in the closet. At the end of the hallway, is the last bedroom which has two twin beds. The bathroom access is from the hallway for these two bedrooms and any guests coming to visit.

On the back deck of the home, you will have a propane gas grill and a staircase that goes down to the expansive backyard. There is plenty of room to host a BBQ or play a game of cornhole!

The place was perfect for our needs and the customer service team was very responsive when I inquired about the power being out due to the storm. We loved the screened in porch and proximity to the beach. It was nice to have lots of towels, shower products, an outdoor shower, and access to a washer and dryer. We would love to stay here again! Thanks so much!

We made a quick decision to change out hotel stay in Charleston to this house in IOP. BEST DECISION EVER. Such an open, quaint, family friendly, love filled unit. We typically don’t like staying anywhere that isn’t beach front but the walk was not far at all. They even had street side parking to make it easier for you if you didn’t want to carry the chairs/etc the whole way. But seriously it wasn’t far. Loved the place. They have made use of every space. The front porch is huge and AWESOME. Tons of room everywhere, inside and out. Will definitely stay here again ❤️

The house was perfect for our group of 8. The front porch lived up to its reputation in reviews. Such a wonderful gathering place. Kitchen well stocked other than could have used more forks. The 2 coffee pots were an added bonus. Problems were promptly resolved. The unusable grill was replaced immediately with a new one which was perfect since we were grilling out every night. The smoke alarm battery started beeping and they were there within the hour to replace it. And once home discovered an item missing, called and it was found and is being returned. One more thing-early check in was worth the extra fee. Definitely would vacation there again.

Overall this was a great place to rent. It's close to the beach and has all the basics that you will need to have a comfortable stay! I will note that the plumbing was backwards on one of the showers, the front doors were hard to shut. Other than those minor inconveniences, I would recommend a stay here!

We enjoyed our week stay at this house. The beds were comfortable and a short walk to the beach. We loved the front porch and were out there majority of our stay. My only issue was the condition of the front porch. It needed a good power wash or some sort of mopping. Will keep this house on our list for future rental opportunities.

My husband and I stayed here with my son and his family (4 adults and 2 children). My other son, who lives in Mount Pleasant, frequently visited with his family, adding another 2 adults and 2 children. Since we were eating in due to COVID, we had all 10 of us there every night for dinner. While it was a squeeze around the dining table, it was fun to be able to have all of us together and the extra seats at the kitchen island came in handy. It was nice to essentially have 2 master bedrooms. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms was great! We all agreed, however, that the best feature of the house was the screened-in porch. If you asked the grandchildren, their favorite thing was the hammock on the porch. If we could make some recommendations, they would be: 1) Remove the metal “door mats” at the front and back doors. If you are barefoot and step on them, they burn the bottom of your feet. Ouch! 2) The outdoor shower needs additional slats to make it “private.” Having grown up at the Jersey shore, no one entered the house without first taking a shower outside. It kept the sand out of the house. But without more privacy, people weren’t willing to take advantage of the outside shower. Maybe it’s only there to rinse off? 3). There are some wicker furniture pieces of furniture on the porch that probably should be replaced. One side of a table has the wicker peeling off one side and some of the chairs have broken strands. It’s great having so much seating in the porch but it would be nicer if all the chairs were equally usable. Overall, this house was an excellent choice for us. It was conveniently located near the beach and the beach was relatively quiet. It was very easy to maintain “social distancing.” If we were to come back to Isle of Palms, we would definitely rent this house again.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff was very accommodating when I spoke to them. The area is beautiful! The house was a very comfortable house. It was perfect for our family and for celebrating our 2nd Christmas!
