For a low-key choice close to your property, head to Saveurs Du Monde Cafe at Seabrook Island. The French-style cafe serves white, red, and bubbly by the glass and by the bottle. Their menu includes dishes made with the freshest ingredients, along with fresh pastries and coffees.
At Somm Wine Bar and Bistro on Johns Island, it’s about more than wine. It’s about creating memories with the people who sit around the table with you. Somm offers a beautiful space where you can get a taste with a wine flight or a nightly pour. You can also order by the glass or bottle; or take a bottle back to your Kiawah Island vacation property. The charcuterie, cheese, and side plates perfectly complement the drinks.
Another great little spot on Johns Island is The Woodruff. Tucked in a little corner in the Live Oak Square shopping center off of Maybank Highway, The Woodruff has a vast collection of wines by the glass, plus bottles, bubbly and cocktails. They’ve also curated a menu of small, fun-share plates with a variety of cheese and charcuterie choices, and a menu of unique entrees.
